How to arrive
How to get to the campus and the university headquarters
Public transport allows you to access the campus by means of various combinations of bus, train and/or underground, depending on your place of departure. The timetables must be checked regularly, as they change at the weekends, during school breaks and in summer.
The no. 19 bus connects Palma to the UIB. During term time, on average there is a bus every 10 minutes. There are also inter-urban buses that run between the UIB and other towns in Mallorca. Lines L200 (Estellencs-Esporles-Palma) and L210 (Sóller-Valldemossa-Palma) stop at the campus. Calvià Town Council has a bus for UIB students. If you are in Menorca or Ibiza, you can also reach the university headquarters by bus.
The no. 1 underground line links the centre of Palma to the campus.
The different train lines in Mallorca (Inca, Sa Pobla, Manacor) and the Sóller train allow combinations with other means of transport in order to access the campus. They all arrive at Plaça d'Espanya in Palma.
There is a bike lane from the city to the UIB campus and so you can reach the campus by bike. You can also put your bike on the underground train and bring it to the campus.
If you want to use private transport in such a way that you help the environment and save money, use the UIB Transport noticeboard. There are also other transport noticeboards from Palma City Council and the Council of Mallorca.
